Embark on a Ski Touring Adventure in the Heart of the Turkish Mountains
Three iconic peaks, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable moments await you on this intense expedition. The winter scenery of the Turkish mountains offers silence, challenge, and the reward of long descents from summits with unique views.
This ski touring trip is intended for skiers in excellent physical condition.
Price includes:
- Accommodation in hotels and tents (double rooms/tents, single room/tent available for an additional fee)
- Luggage transport to the high camp
- Full board during the ascent, with a chef
- Breakfast in hotels and dinners in cities
- Local, licensed English-speaking mountain guide
- Permit to enter Mt. Ararat
Price does not include:
- Flight ticket. If you wish, we will be happy to arrange your flight ticket. Prices vary depending on the departure location and the time of booking.
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses, drinks, and tips for the guide
- Single room/tent fee – 145 EUR
Day 1: Arrival in Van, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Ascent of Mt. Artos (3,537 m), followed by an evening transfer to Adilcevaz.
Day 3: Ski tour on Mt. Süphan (4,058 m), transfer to Dogubayazit.
Day 4: Trek to the base camp on Mt. Ararat (2,900 m).
Day 5: Ascent to the high camp (3,500 m), preparation for summit day.
Day 6: Summit day – Ascend Mt. Ararat (5,165 m), descent and ski down to the base camp.
Day 7: Reserve day or sightseeing around the area, return to Van.
Day 8: Departure and flight back home.
